He is also the mental skills coach for many elite athletes, including several collegiate and professional basketball players. n this video, Betchart explains how body language can affect feelings. He teaches his athletes to act opposite until you feel that opposite emotion. For example, if you are scared, act like you are calm until you feel calm. By doing this, feeling do not dictate your actions. This exercise takes energy and commitment to act against your initial instinct.
